With Notal, you can type your notes with plain Markdown text and enjoy reading with a clean, simple style. If you aren't familiar with Markdown, we encourage you take a look at this new trend on writing and reading your notes.
Markdown is a lightweight markup language, originally created by John Gruber and Aaron Swartz allowing people "to write using an easy-to-read, easy-to-write plain text format, then convert it to structurally valid HTML". The language takes many cues from existing conventions for marking up plain text in email.
